2022 Symposium
We would like to thank everyone who attended our 2022 Symposium. Your participation and ideas have given us all so much to think about. A special thanks goes to our presenters for sharing their expertise and experiences and reminding us what amazing colleagues we have across all three U-M campuses.
The 2022 ACUM Advising Symposium (The Evolution of Advising: Reflect, Re-Imagine, Re-Energize) will be held virtually via Zoom the afternoon of Thursday May 12 and the morning of Friday, May 13. Presenters and attendees will engage in dialogue about the past and the future of advising. How are we innovating and creatively moving forward? What are critical growth opportunities? How does deep advising matter now more than ever? How can we re-energize and incorporate self-care into our advising practice? We look forward to creating space to collaborate with colleagues from all of U-M’s campuses.
The call for proposals is now closed. We welcomed proposals from graduate and undergraduate advisors on all three U-M campuses on a variety of advising topics including advisor and student well-being, assessment, DE&I, technology, and other relevant issues. Proposal(s) were due by Thursday, March 17, 2022
